Graphic Design 1

For our first project in Graphic Design we worked on a pamphlet the help us memorize our key words. For my project i colored everywhere around my definition to help me remember it. On the inside for a little design i just tryed to make it colorful because i like drawing in colors. I personally think for my first project i did okay, but I could have done a lot better if i put more time into it.

For our second project in graphic design we did a name pamphlet. We took all of the things in our lives we enjoy and put them in one picture, for example i had a basketball, and a Xbox controller symbolizing Video Games. I tried to make the colors collide as much as possible. One thing i did good with this project was trying to draw most of it by myself without tracing. One thing i could improve on is drawing my lines straighter and being more careful. That is a picture of it on the right.

For my third project in Graphic Design i did a project with different items and stamping. We took a deign and carved it out, after that was done we covered it in paint and stamped it on our papers. With this project i could have definetly done better i was rushed and it could have been better.

For my fourth project in Graphic Design i did a pattern project. For my patter i used various Christmas items, including, a stocking, present, tree, candy cane, and a ornament. For this project i think i did a good job coloring and making my objects match. For one thing i can improve on is my drawing with straight edges, for some of the drawings they could have been better.

For my fifth project in Graphic Design we did a pet illustration. The reason I chose my cat Ace was because a day before we started this project Ace was hit by a car and died.. This hit me really hard but doing this project definitely helped me cope with it and made me happy i did such an amazing thing. I personally think i did very good on the tracing in this class. I could have improved on the time it took to complete but i was absent one day.

For my sixth project in Graphic Design I made a self portrait. To start i took a picture of myself and traced it. Then i used ink to put it on a Board in which i carved it out. Then i put it through the machine and transferred it to the paper. I think i did okay with this project. What i could have improved on was my lines and making them more neat.

For my 7th project i did a concert poster for Michael Jackson. I made stars and a picture of him with a date and a place where it will be. One thing i did good with this project is the colors. One thing i could improve on is taking more time to add more designs.

For my Final project in Graphic Design i did a quote that i like and made it bubble letters. The reason I chose this quote is because i really believe in what it says. One thing i did good on was my coloring and spacing. One thing i need to improve on was my sizes of my letters to make them even.
