For the first project in Drawing 1 we did a project called Line Quality Drawing. I unfortunately did not get a picture of my drawing which i my fault but overall i thought the exercise was fun and a great first project for the class
The second project we are doing in drawing 1 is called the Still Life drawing. the main focus' were the 6 parts of light and value. I think that I did well on my value in this drawing. The lights and dark values gave my drawing some good contrast. I also think that compared to my past drawings the shadows or 6 parts of light worked well in this. The last thing that I really liked was my composition of the objects. It made my drawing more interesting to look at. Overall I'd say I did a Okay job over the course of 3 hours we had to complete it.
The third drawing we did in Drawing 1 is called the One Point Perspective drawing. This drawing requires you to make an accurate one point perspective drawing with a horizon line and one vanishing point. You also need a full range of values. My favorite part about this drawing is the buildings but I didn't like how I didn't have enough time to finish shading them in which is my fault. But it was a fun drawing and I like how it turned out overall.
For the fourth project in Drawing 1 we did a self portrait drawing. I think what i did good in my drawing was my spacing of different things on my face. The shading was a little too dark and i could have fixed my mouth but overall i think i did well on this drawing.
